“I am very tied to photography as an art form because it requires careful observation of the subject. When shooting a photograph, I find that I learn to understand the subject through my lens. My eyes discover new details when I view a scene through my camera because I think carefully about what I see and question why my eye is drawn to that particular moment.

In my photographs, I have tried to capture the diversity that is intrinsic to the textures, colors, emotions, landscapes and expressions of our world. It has been extremely rewarding to work in this medium because of its ability to create a connection with a subject and share that connection with others when they view a photograph.

All images are shot digitally with a Canon Digital Rebel (SLR) and EF-S 18-55 mm f/3.5-5.6 and EF 75-300mm F4-5.6 IS lenses.
